Introduction of Pilates Mat


Pilates Mat is a variation of the well-known Pilates method, Which movements are performed lying on a mat and starting from the abdominal area, involving raising the rest of the trunk and legs.

This technique is based on six basic principles: concentration, control, centralization, fluidity of movement, precision and breathing
Its goal is to increase abdominal strength and improve flexibility and body control.

About the instructor,
Adelaine started her career as a professional compose and songwriter, but due to long hours in front of the computer, had given her posture alignment issue and tension on shoulder all time.

Adelaine immersed into Pilates ever since her first class in early 2015, where she discovered the benefit and tremendous improvement of her SI joint problem, and postural alignment has given her great inspiration to pursue her further appreciation through more practice and workshop.

She loves endurance sport and with pilates’s amazing regimen, it’s strengthen and create awareness of her own body, reduce injury risk and achieve more effective functional movement.

In 2017, Adelaine completed Polestar Pilates Mat teacher training course, professionaly trained by Polestar instructor and recently completed Polestar Mat work with props. Currently teaching Mat group classes and private Mat session.

Adelaine looks forward sharing her knowledge to other so they can back to their fullest movement potentials with lasting results.
